Develops a strategic marketing, sales and business development plan to advance the Company’s mission and objectives and to promote increased revenue, profitability and growth as an organization.
Assumes responsibility for overall marketing, sales and business development activities in a fiscally prudent and effective manner, consistent with policy and parameters established by the CEO.
Accountable to the CEO, VP of Operations and EOSIS Board members for meeting quarterly sales objectives.
Collaborates with EOSIS Program Directors of Women’s and Men’s Residential Treatment Services and Outpatient Services in the development of program marketing and sales strategy.
Develops a database of viable candidates/businesses for acquisition through research and attendance at local and regional conferences and through marketing and sales contacts.
Establishes contact and business relationships with prospective sellers and decision makers.
Collaborates with leadership at existing sites to identify business opportunities and enlist their assistance in meeting with prospects/referents in their areas.
Implements promotional activities for the organization though the effective development and use of print media, promotional/marketing materials, EOSIS’s website and intranet.
Creates new markets for existing services.
Works with executive management to develop new product lines to take advantage of needs in the marketplace.
Ensures confidentiality regarding all organizational business, clients’ medical backgrounds and treatment issues per HIPAA guidelines.
Responsible for maintaining and communicating the organization’s goals and objectives, including short and long-term plans.
Devotes a minimum of 80% of time to purposeful marketing, sales and business development activities with direct, visible involvement, focusing on increasing commercial and self-pay revenue streams.
Remains actively involved in the Chemical Health community, participates in public relations and educational activities, and maintains long-term commitment to referral development.
Identifies and communicates acquisition and growth opportunities and coordinates related implementation activities with approval of CEO and direct supervisor.
Monitors and develops plans, in cooperation with key corporate and site staff, to improve and sustain customer satisfaction in all service areas.
Models a visionary, team-oriented, accountable and results-oriented leadership style.
Ensures effective and efficient reporting to VP/GM - Women’s Division on the effectiveness of marketing and sales plan, communicating measureable outcomes supported by electronic Avatar reports.
Attends and participates in EOSIS Advisory Board meetings as directed.
Maintains a working knowledge of significant developments and trends in Behavioral Health.
Adheres to and promotes EOSIS’s Mark of Excellence guidelines.

Supports corporate initiatives and assists with other projects as assigned.
3+ years experience in sales, marketing and business development and/or acquisitions required.
Prior experience or knowledge relating to substance use and co-occurring disorders.
Superior interpersonal and communication skills with ability to develop and deliver presentations.
Ability to build strong partnerships and business alliances based on mutual trust and respect.
Ability to analyze and interpret outcomes of marketing and sales efforts.
Ability to manage resources in fiscally responsible manner.
Proven ability to work with and motivate team members to accomplish objectives.
Strong sense of organization and planning, and ability to manage time effectively.
Must exhibit a high degree of ethical conduct, integrity and confidentiality.
Ability and willingness to interact with and appreciate individuals from diverse cultural, social, economic and religious backgrounds and promote/support the principles of diversity throughout the organization.
Must demonstrate a general knowledge and understanding of all EOSIS policies and procedures and the ability to reference, implement and abide by them.
Must be able to travel via air and land transportation.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
Infrequent lifting of no more than 30 pounds.
Must be able to bend, twist and stretch in a manner conducive to an office setting and conducive to air and land travel.
Must have reliable method of independent transportation.
Must know or be willing to receive training on all parts and the implications of MN Statute 245G as well as all other required rules and regulations.
Experience processing referrals and admissions in a behavioral health setting is highly desired.
License as alcohol and drug or mental health professional a plus.
Master’s Degree in related discipline preferred.
